Naperville and Chicago First Birthday Photographer – Sesame Street Elmo Cake Smash –

This was one of my favorite cake smashes to date. I love Sesame Steet so when Mateo’s parents asked me if we could do this setup, I was so excited. I meet Mateo last year when he came to my Naperville Studio for his newborn photos. Here is a photo that shows how much He has changed during this first year

We started our session with a cute family photo.

I always take photos of baby nice and clean before bringing the cake. You never know how they are going to react to the cake. Some babies love it, some other, not so much.

Mateo made us laugh so much during the whole cake smash session. He LOVED his cake. What a fun way to celebrate your baby’s first birthday.

We finished up with a splash bath.  These are wonderful. Most babies absolutely love water and they go home nice and clean.
